My trip to the Franklin Park Zoo was part of Worldwide Photo Walk Day. There were 1000 events with over 21,000 participants worldwide. This event is one of many types of events fostering the love of photography; regardless of age, talent or equipment type. Our weather started out cold and damp, but the rain drizzle passed and it brightened up a bit to make for a great Fall New England day. We gathered with old friends and met some new ones!

The lions, tigers and gorillas were the hit of the day, especially the 4 month old baby gorilla! All are beautiful and amazing creatures!
